I really liked the coins that came

I really liked the coins that came. As mentioned in other reviews, they are thin – but they don’t bend as they are made of sturdy metal. Also, they measure at 0.75″. I uploaded a picture that I took with a ruler and a pen for your reference so you get an idea of how big they are. I gave them out as part of a Chinese New Year celebration with friends. They enjoyed receiving them as a fun token of the evening.

Was not really pleased with the size or the thinness of the coins

Was not really pleased with the size or the thinness of the coins. They are still nice enough for salt water cures and for display/decorative for wealth bowls and sailing ships.

Small & lightweight yet surprisingly well made-

These are actually well made for an inexpensive item. They aren’t like the heavy replicas, so don’t expect that. These are slightly smaller in size and thinner than the ones I’d had twenty years (!) ago. Still, they are surprisingly well made – good impressions of the characters and smooth edges on all sides. It feels nice to jingle them back and forth in the hands :-). The color is like an antiqued brass, and the coloring is subtly different on each piece. These arrived in a black pouch (with the maker’s name printed in big letters on one side), with a sticker (green buddha) and small red corded bracelet. Could these be found for a better price? Probably, but only if you’re going somewhere to find items such as this.At the time I purchased, these were the best overall value (item + shipping + speed of delivery). I hope your experience is as pleasant as mine 🙂

Loving The I-ching Coins!

These coins were a great addition to my Feng Shui Collection and I plan on buying more of them! Let’s hope they’ll actually attract wealthy chi. The coins may be small and pretty thin, but I think they’re awesome! I’ll have to put some of them in my purse and under my rug for good luck, plus I’ve added them to my little Feng Shui corner. I would recommend them!

I’m not understanding why everyone is saying these are not great!! These coins are perfect. They are the exact coins you use for Chinese New Year. Like the ones you tie to jewelry…or in 3. I gave the bag to my sons teacher before I thought to take a photo. I wish I would have. I bought these and red envelopes as gifts for the children in his class for Chinese New Year. They were exactly what I was looking for. Very rustic and used looking. We’re not allowed to give the children real money so it worked out perfect.

Small & Thin… But Nice

Coins from one of the World’s oldest societies. These coins are thinner than I thought they would be. But still look cool sitting in a perched abalone shell. Great conversation piece. I’ve noticed that some members of my household just can’t stop picking up a few coins here and there. So I’ll probably buy more just to keep this unique charm available to view. China being within the top 5 civilizations ever to walk this planet. It’s like owning small pieces of History .

if you’re looking for real “coins” that you want to use for play money or game tokens etc, these aren’t the greatest choice.

Coins from the mystic empire.

These small, thin coins were exactly what I was looking for. They are stiff, not flexible, and should not break without deliberate effort. They are fairly small and light, but are still easy to handle. I plan on using them for game play and unless one of the players can read Chinese, they can represent any value I choose.
