Was not really pleased with the size or the thinness of the coins. They are still nice enough for salt water cures and for display/decorative for wealth bowls and sailing ships.

These are actually well made for an inexpensive item. They aren’t like the heavy replicas, so don’t expect that. These are slightly smaller in size and thinner than the ones I’d had twenty years (!) ago. Still, they are surprisingly well made – good impressions of the characters and smooth edges on all sides. It feels nice to jingle them back and forth in the hands :-). The color is like an antiqued brass, and the coloring is subtly different on each piece. These arrived in a black pouch (with the maker’s name printed in big letters on one side), with a sticker (green buddha) and small red corded bracelet. Could these be found for a better price? Probably, but only if you’re going somewhere to find items such as this.At the time I purchased, these were the best overall value (item + shipping + speed of delivery). I hope your experience is as pleasant as mine 🙂

Arrived 3 day before the earliest est date and came with 51 pcs. They are around the thickness of a dime and the size of a penny. The print is centered and looks good on all the coins. I bought these as a replacement for the coins in the board game Tokaido and they seem like a good fit (though the coins are Chinese inspired and the game is Japanese based most of my friends will not know the difference). Nothing more to say it came with what I expected and I am satisfied.

Coins from one of the World’s oldest societies. These coins are thinner than I thought they would be. But still look cool sitting in a perched abalone shell. Great conversation piece. I’ve noticed that some members of my household just can’t stop picking up a few coins here and there. So I’ll probably buy more just to keep this unique charm available to view. China being within the top 5 civilizations ever to walk this planet. It’s like owning small pieces of History .

Much thinner than I thought.

Super super thinner then I expected, especially compared to other similar coins I’ve had. Purchased for use in board games. Still feels better than cardboard tokens.

Not legal tender but fun

These are small and thin but were perfect as a token to hand out for a Chinese New Year party. I had extras and a friend took them and used them to decorate a purse she made for her granddaughter.

The coins are small and pretty thin, but I think they’re ok for decoration …

The coins are small and pretty thin, but I think they’re ok for decoration or party favors !!! These are novelty items, obviously not real coins. For the price, they are definitely a good value.
