Ok, considering I love everything Travis Maddox, I have no idea what took me so long to read this book. Maybe because I thought it would just be more of the same, but no. McGuire, being the rock star writer that she is gives us more. Everything we could have ever wanted in knowing what happened before my favorite couple tied the know in Vegas. Honestly, when I first read Beautiful Disaster I couldn’t fathom why Abby would want to get married in Vegas, she hated that place. But this book explains it so well. The repercussions of the fire and the angst Travis experienced were things I had not even considered and yet made me love him even more. So if you are like me, don’t wait any longer. Pick up this book and read it now, you will be so happy. The only problem is it will remind you of all the reasons you loved the first book so much you just want to reread it, and with my long TBR list, that is could be a problem

First wedding was best ever

I read the negative reviews of this book and went ahead and downloaded it. I am so glad I did. Abby never made decisions based on love, so it was no real surprise that she was trying to protect Travis as he had tried to protect her for months. She loved Travis, but showing love was completely foreign to her because other than America and her family, Abby hadn’t had much love until Travis. She said it was all about providing him an alibi, but it was really about keeping the man she loved. She would never admit that though. Travis knew she was up to something and knew she was rescuing him. He just didn’t know for certain she knew she was rescuing him. Abby is complicated; Travis is not. He doesn’t ask for more than someone can give, and he loved Abby enough to just go with it. I think getting the tattoo really was her way of saying she was all in so he knew she was certain. I thought the wedding was beautiful. Elvis and all. The second one wasn’t necessary for me, but at least they got the honeymoon they didn’t get with the first one. I can’t wait for Trent’s story to come out in July. As wild as Travis was, his brother may be a lot freer. Nothing seems to be too much for him.

Trenton in a man thong, covered in about ten pounds of body glitter…enough said!

I was so excited to be able to find out what happens during the wedding. It was a part in both Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster that was kind of skipped over. You know it happened and because of Walking Disaster you get to find out how they are years down the road, but neither book gave you details about the wedding itself. I was frustrated about it because of course, I wanted to know!

Second time around, just as wonderful!

This is my second time reading this. I’ve read some reviews about how some people didn’t quite like this novella because of part of Abby’s reasonings to marry Travis. I won’t lie, my first time through I had the same feelings. I was a bit disappointed in Abby, and with that I quickly read through some parts. This time around, I read it for what it really is. Did I still feel a twinge of disappointment? Yes. However, once you read and feel what Abby is feeling, holy heck, you fall in love with Travis even more and love Abby as well. I loved everything about they’re wedding at the famous Graceland Chapel. Especially Travis’ letter for Abby from his mom. Man, tears were streaming as soon as I read ‘To the future Mrs. Maddox.’ In that letter we have one of my favorite lines, ‘And when a Maddox boy falls in love, he loves forever.’ We jump to they’re first anniversary a year later, and witness some pretty hilarious and perfect bachelor and bachelorette parties. A special treat at the end and a priceless line, ‘The beautiful disaster turned into a beautiful wedding.” I laughed, cried, swooned, and fell in love again with my forever book bf Travis. I’ll leave you with this: “Happy anniversary, Pidge,” Travis. “One down, forever to go,” Abby.

LOVED IT! So many questions FINALLY answered! I LOVE TRAVIS AND ABBY!

A Beautiful Wedding starts us off the night they escaped the fire… Being told from Abby’s eyes. She is worried about what Travis is going to face. Not wanting him to go to jail, she is so scared she will lose him, knowing that she is so deeply in love with him, she pops the question suddenly.

A Sweeter Side of Abby and Travis

This novella was so sweet!! I have to say this was one of my favorites. It took away the edge of the other books and really focused on their relationship and how much they loved each other. Even though the reason Abby proposed kind of made me mad I realize also that she knows she will not end up with anyone else because no one will be her Travis. And she also doesn’t want to wait any longer to be with him.

Great Read!

A Beautiful Wedding was the perfect insight into Travis and Abby’s wedding in Vegas. In a Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster you don’t get to see the wedding. They just go off to Vegas and get married and go back home. But A Beautiful Wedding fills in all those details of the trip to Vegas and their wedding. I absolutely loved the wedding between Abby and Travis. There wedding was so sweet and romantic.

Beautiful, Touching, Passionate, and Unforgettable!
