It’s good soup.

 on February 23, 2017
It’s good soup – cooks up in the microwave fast and easy with fairly low sodium and I’ve never had an issue with the quality of the product. Good flavor, not too salty. Tastes like what it is – split pea soup. Used to get similar products and Trader Joes and Vons but they don’t have it anymore so I’ve been buying this product online for a while now. It’s not the cheapest per cup, but it’s the best I can find.

Wow! Eats Like a Meal!

This is the first Dr. McDougall’s product I have tried, and I have to say that I’m quite impressed. In college I lived on little cups of Ramen noodles, but since they are so bad for you, I wouldn’t consider eating them now. These are approximately the same size cups as the cups of Ramen I used to eat, but this soup thickens up into a wonderful pea stew after waiting the prescribed time period (as opposed to the watery concoction in with the Ramen noodles). I got extremely full eating one of these for lunch, and it held me for the rest of the day. I really enjoyed the flavor as well. I will be trying other varieties of Dr. McDougall’s soups and encourage anyone who is looking for a healthful and convenient meal to do so as well.

My favorite pea soup (that’s not homemade)

I love that this is lower in sodium (15% of the daily), low in calories and easy to make. AND IT TASTES awesome. It doesn’t taste like a dehydrated soup. It is thick and has a great, almost homemade taste. I get this on auto-delivery and always get the deliveries with a long shelf life. Great purchase.

I actually liked this brand much better, but once again if you try and buy it, it’s as a “Add On” which means you have to spend $25.00 before you can get it unless you subscribed to get it automaticly every month, two month etc. and it will be a little cheaper. I did subscribe to get 12 of these Pea soup in a cup to come every 2 month for me.

Tasty, guilt-free, easy

I’m the mom of a 3 year old, work and volunteer. This is a great way to keep something at the office I can prep for those times I can’t pack a lunch. It does take a while for the soup to “cook” in the hot water, but I think the end result is better than instant. You can sip it from the cup in the car if need be! I like the California Highway split pea soup and this is smooth like that, but a more complex or adult taste. Probably thyme. Overall, it is fabulous for the health/price/taste/convenience ratio.

This is my quick, go-to lunch when I’m in a hurry. I buy the Vegan Spit Pea, Vegan Pad Thai and Black Bean and Lime, all from Dr. McDougall’s. They are always fresh, so easy to make and relatively good for you compared to other instant foods. I buy on Subscribe and Save.

Perfect for healthy dorm living!

I am a health-conscious freshman college student and I absolutely hate my meal plan! I was frustrated with the lack of healthy food the cafeteria was serving so I decided to order Dr. Mcdougall’s split pea soup along with the lentil cous cous soup. One word describes both of these products: AMAZING! I only have a water heater in my tiny little two person dorm room and that is all I need to make a meal! Not only is this product low cal but also low sodium and it doesn’t even taste bland! It is super filling and I always look forward to eating this soup, especially on a cold winter day!
