useable for some beginners. It helps to find and identify the good and bad sectors (rooms) in your home. In regard to information this book is a bit more valuable than the “Feng Shui For Homebuyers – Exterior”. These two books should be combined to be of better value.

Useful, but incomplete

This book mainly talks about forms within the house and the mansion or gua formula of deciding where to place the door, kitchen, bedroom, and balcony. It has almost nothing regarding flying stars which I consider important and also de-emphasis the use of colors within a room (he says colors only have a 10 to 15% affect on the qi). I tend to disagree with my experimentation. My experimentation shows that the type of color, the shade of color, and the amount of color in relation to a sector can affect a sector and sector’s gua and flying stars.

I’ve recently decided to that it was time for me to buy my first house and being the first for me and my girlfriend, i wanted to make sure that it was the best value our money can get! So i’ve met up with property agents, finance brokers and read quite a few feng shui books , and trust me, i’ve not came across another feng shui book that is as comprehensive and easy to learn!

I have read many many books on feng shui and nothing comes close to this! I learnt more in the first few chapters than I have reading the last 3 – 4 books by other authors. There is so much misunderstanding and myth about the subject and Joey Yap helped me clear up so many questions and find my answers.

Wonderful read

Found the lessons and anecdotes in this book to be quite a revelation. It is a complete departure from other commercially available Feng Shui books and publications. The book dispels a lot of myths, quite a funny read and I found myself laughing at some of the author’s overt deadpan humour. The book is abound with many tips, pointers and lessons yet it is all well-arranged which makes it a methodical and organized read. Perfect companion to the ‘Homebuyers – Exterior’ book.

I got this book after reading the Feng Shui for Homebuyers – Exterior book. Similarly, this book contained a lot of colourful pictures which made it easy to read and understand. I’ve also begun seeing some positive results from the implementation of the techniques learnt. A useful book for a better home – at least for me!
