I just finished reading this book last night, and I have already implemented a few of the Feng Shui ‘fixes’ and suggestions contained within. Although I am rather familiar with Feng Shui and its principles, and created a ‘bagua’ map of my current home a few years ago, the author delves deeply into material other books just gloss over. Jayme offers well-written explanations of various Feng Shui concepts, as well as many concrete examples of how to apply those concepts, zone by zone and room by room. I found myself reading a chapter or section, and then jumping off the couch and doing an audit of a particular area to see what I could find that could be adjusted of fixed. In particular, I realized how much I had overlooked my attached garage and the clutter/disorder there, even though I enter and exit through that door several times a day. I can tell you that my dumpster is now full to the brim and every shelf and cabinet is a model of order. It is a nice feeling, and am happy that this book gave me a little ‘kick in the pants’!

This book is one of the best on the subject. It not only covers furniture placement but everything from meditation to diet that allows good energy to flow and attract the positive into our lives. I cannot express how happy I am since receiving it and reading how it aligns to everything in my life at this moment.

I first tried feng shui as a teenager, where all I could do was my room since I lived with my parents. Almost NOTHING improved – not money, career, love, health, family…a little boost in reputation, but not much. I swore off feng shui for years due to my lame experience. That experience was after reading a different book about it, not sure if I should mention it’s title, but it’s a quick read, and turns it into pop culture rather than embodying the real heart and soul of feng shui.

Mandatory, fun reading for everyone!

This is a simple, easy to follow, common sense guide to declutter and organize ones home and life. It is strong on guidance in a clear and concise manner. One doesn’t need to be a follower of Feng shut to enjoy and benefit from this book. Everyone can benefit, but especially those of us who sometimes struggle with getting rid of stuff ! Excellent read!

I’ve received my copies of Feng Shui Your Life other day. Yes, I said copies. Being familiar with the first edition, I was confident that not only I would love the new edition, but this is going to be my holiday/host gift this year. It’s so much better than a bottle of wine. The reason I love this book is because whether you have 10 minutes to read or the whole day you always learn about feng shui and Yourself through the clearly written text and beautiful pictures. After reading, it gets you to make little everyday changes or gives you an awareness of the many ways to enhance your life and your surroundings without spending very much time or money. So I’ve decided to give this book to many of my friends, some may use it just as a lovely coffee table book but eventually they were delve into the book, then again and again.

Wonderful!

if you went full Kondo, this is a great secondary book to help provide some structure to your newly decluttered space. some thoughtful and reasoned ideas to decorating and arranging your home, along with some new age-y kind of thinking. definitely westernized feng shui methodology, but lots of useful ideas which do make a difference once you take the time to try them.

I’m going through a phase where I want to decorate my home for real and this book has helped me make sure things are balanced and helped to bring harmony to my space. It is also a great coffee table book because it looks nice sitting out for others to view as well. I highly recommend this book if you are into feng shui and learning how to place objects in the right place for the type of environment you are trying to create.

I’m not an expert on feng shui and this is my first book on the subject. It is extremely easy to follow and provides lots of specific examples. It goes beyond just arranging furniture and gives lots of helpful life advice. It also includes beautiful pictures and lots of them! It is the perfect book for a beginner and well worth the price.

My favorite Feng Shui book. Beautiful and Easy to Understand.

I just read the book cover to cover and am now on my second read-through to take more notes and make additional improvements! Love the book! I own several feng shui books and have never done more than skimmed through. This one is different. It is so easy to understand and I love that Jayme encompass a holistic approach with self-care. I recommended it to my hair stylist…she even pulled it up on Google while I was in the chair to make sure she had the right one. I’m confident my home’s energy is already improving!
