This book is not the typical diet or health food cookbook but rather delicious meals prepared clean. If Chia seeds and other health food names send shudders through your body in are in for a surprise when you taste these beautiful recipes (although most ingredients are every day items). They are simple to prepare, elegant enough for a high end dinner party, easily liked by children and just down right wonderful. After reading some of the negative reviews regarding odd ingredients, I would like to add that most likely is an issue only applying to rural areas that are limited in many foods. Admittedly I live in California where everything is easily accessible, but I have had no difficulties finding most things in the average market. I highly recommend this book, it will be appreciated at any meal by every person.

A little to much “fancy ” food for my house! Ingredients and Giadas “secrets” are very expensive. Not somethingthe ordinary person would have access to.

I am a big Giada fan, since her recipes are always so delicious and easy to make. I love italian and I love here style of cooking. Even recipes I tried for the first time turned out without any mishaps. This new book offers a lot of no meat recipes which is a nice extra to previous books. The recipes have a nice twist and are a great alternative to the usually salads, soups etc. This is a great edition to my other Giada cookbooks. If you never tried any of her recipes, you are missing out on something. No matter which cookbook you buy, just follow the recipe and you will be amazed how good and easy food can be prepared….Love it
