The bike is wonderful MINUS the company did not provide a power source. It cost an additional $43 to get a power source or you can use LOTS of D batteries.

Five Stars

I got my bike about 3 weeks ago, and love it. My husband was able to assemble it himself. I am recovering from major back surgery and trying to get fit enough to go back to work. The bike has preset workouts for various uses, including a weight loss program. I have had no trouble at all with the bike. Improvements are needed as far as the display, and some noise. For some reason the bike is loud in the lowest setting, but the noise go away as you increase the resistance, also, the timer should be a louder and different sound than the rest of the beeps when your 30 minute workout ends. The little slot in front of the display, I assume, is to hold a small book or ipod, it should be about an inch wider to accommodate an Ipad, Nook HD, or Kindle.

Like it but wish the resistances varied more

I’m a female, 40 years old come next month, and 155 pounds. Got mine from Wal-Mart. Fortunately it was a display item so it was already put together so no issues there. It was on sale, plus an additional 50% off of that because of it being a display item; so I got it for $77; no issues there. I read past reviews so I knew there’d be no power source so I bought a $15 electrical pencil sharpener (also from Wal-Mart) and used the cord from that as my power source.

Works great

I assembled this bike in about three hours. Runs well. There was a small plastic cosmetic cover plate for the bolts on the back of the handle bar that I did not use – I would need to use different screws if I wanted to attach it, but It is so minor that I don’t care. The rest of the bike is very solid. I also did switch the legs so that the roller leg was in front, near the flywheel where the bike is heaviest. The back leg is now longer and provides a larger base. Overall, though for the price it is solidly built and has withstood the testing of my children pedaling as furiously as they can. The seat is very comfortable, and it is easy to change the bike length. I would recommend this bike. It is true that there is no backlighting for the console, but I can still read it. The fan is a nice touch, too.
