The first section of this cook book is about inflammation and how to fight it. It starts out explaining inflammation and what a person can do to help reduce it. Next, it explains an anti-inflammatory diet and how it works. I like how it emphasizes some of the better foods for fighting inflammation and explains how each of them fights it. It gives tips on how to cook and eat correctly while on this particular diet and even includes the best used cooking methods. Following this information are anti-inflammatory recipes. While many of them sound delicious, I will probably only try a few, because they seem to be too time consuming. For example, one recipe says beans need to boil for 3 hours and in another they are to boil for 4 hours. I am a busy mom of three boys and do not have time for such time-consuming recipes. I am looking for not only healthy recipes, but also those that are quick. .

I love this book because it’s a Kindle book because it’s much better for the environment and also I tend to use my tablet more than reading books and that include cookbooks. This title caught my eye because I have a lot of inflammation and have had to tailor my diet accordingly, which is easier said than done. I loved the author’s “voice” in this book and didn’t feel talked down to at all. The information seemed to be accurate and the recipes sound super yummy! I’m looking forward to getting back into the kitchen and trying some of them out. I will be looking for more titles from this author in the future.

I just received the Healthy Cookbooks: Healthy Juicing and Anti Inflammatory Foods and I found this to be very insightful mostly regarding the significance of introducing healthy juicing to your daily life type of diet along with anti inflammatory foods. I found the section about healthy juicing diets to be very intriguing because not everybody enjoys eating healthy food but why not drink it? This book provided recipes that range from breakfast to dinner in addition to soups and salads – they pretty much cover everything. I only tried one recipe thus far, I was pretty surprised at how well it came out. Overall, I feel this book is definitely worthwhile because in addition to learning about techniques to help maintain your body you also get pretty good recipes. Overall I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is curious about healthy juicing diets or anti inflammatory diets.

This is a wonderful healthy cookbook….it has lots of great healthy recipes for juicing and has lots of great healthy beneficial recipes for chronic inflammation! We are all aware that eating healthy is essential these days and and alot of us suffer with inflammation….this book can definitely give you a great start to eating healthier and a great start to eleviating inflammation….This 170 page book covers 2 diet plans….the juicing diet plan and the anti-inflammatory diet plan….which consists of tons of healthy but yet hard to believe yummy recipes that I cant wait to try….

The very first recipe in this book got me. Baked Teriyaki chicken. Talking about delicious. It is that. Wonderful recipe and good for you? Even I had trouble believing that. Or how about Fruit salad? Or Bakes or grilled Salmon?

Tasty Morning Apple and Carrot Juice Recipe will be my breakfast again tomorrow.

As a 57 year old construction worker I understand inflammation and diet. It just seems to easy to eat badly in our processed foods world.This books helps make eating easier. It mentions that if you must fry, stir fry in a wok ,The food doesn’t sit in the oil – which stimulates the production of trans fats – but it will be just as tasty.poaching,baking,steaming and grilling are also healthier options. The second section of the book covers my favorite , juicing. Chapter 1: What is the Juicing? Chapter 2: Benefits of Juicing Chapter 3: Helpful Tips to Simplify Juicing for Weight Loss Chapter 4: Delicious Juicing Recipes for Any Meal . Tasty Morning Apple and Carrot Juice Recipe will be my breakfast again tomorrow. All in all a good book.

This is a nice book to read if you are trying to eat healthier. The book starts out about how and why to eat healthier, nothing new about this, but always interesting see another persons point of view on it. Then its followed by the recipes and how they are supposed to heal certain things by eating certain foods, or making recipes with a variety of foods to make you healthier. I am not a doctor so I can’t say for sure if its fact, but if they would work, that would be awesome. Most recipes are simple and easy to prepare. I don’t like certain foods, so I made a some of the recipes that appealed to me and they were fine. Overall a good read for the healthy reader.

I have read many cookbooks always looking for more information about health and best recipes , so that my family can enjoy healthy and good-tasting food, and this book has not been the exception, excellent material, easy recipes I really liked prepare salads fruit for my daughter and Polynesian chicken for my son, also apply the diet plan which is at the end of the book easy to follow without dramas , my family feels good, good plan for a healthy nutrition .

I read the this cookbook and while it wasn’t as bad as most of the diet/cookbooks I’ve reviewed lately, but it could have done with a good editor. There were a few type-os and obvious mistakes such as once the author says you should only eat lean meats once a week then elsewhere it’s once a day.

Great for juicing. Lots of variety!
