Not as Kid Friendly as I’d Hoped

POSITIVE: I have been trying to find easy, kid friendly recipes that my somewhat picky boys will eat. Something that gives me some healthy recipes. Most of the books I’ve found that are “Kid Approved” seem to contain a lot of really unhealthy recipes or recipes that simply add something unhealthy to something healthy (i.e. chocolate to fruit) in order to entice kids to eat it. This book did have some healthier recipes which I feel I can use. Also, a lot of veggies in these recipes that I’m hoping my kids will eat. I have a 3 and 4 year old who eat fruit like there’s no tomorrow but only dig carrots and broccoli.

I really liked the tips in the books. My wife and I work for the whole day and after a long day we just normally order from the nearest fast food just so our two kids won’t starve. However lately my wife has been stressing over the sedentary lifestyle of our kids and so she started cooking. For her though she felt like eating the same cycle of food over and over again is dull and boring. And that is where this book comes in. I like how this book helps parents provide a healthy meal for their kids that is very achievable because it is easy, healthy and quick to prepare. The list of recipes is also very delicious. My wife is excited to try out the recipes in this book for tomorrow’s dinner. We liked it very much and can certainly recommend it to everyone.

As a mother I am always looking for new recipes that my kids may enjoy. It is hard enough sometimes just to get them to eat let alone eat healthy. I loved this book; there are so many wonderful recipes and a few I did try that were loved by my family. It is complete with needed ingredients, prep time, cooking and little tidbits at end of each one. They all sound delicious and I look forward to trying many more. Having my children asks for seconds is a magical moment. I give this book very high recommendations and it is for all families. It will start a new lifestyle and trend at mealtime, where the kids rush to the table to see what mom made this time. Bon Appetite’!

I was actually at my friend’s house and he showed me this book that he purchased. I started reading and well I must say I could not stop. I wrote down all the recipes I liked and decided to give it a try. I never thought I would cook before but this book made it look so easy and fun so I just had to give it a shot. My cooking skills are still improving but now I can easily make myself healthy food whenever I’m hungry instead of just eating crap.

This book is exaclty what I need for my busy life style. It makes it easy to make a quick, tasty, and healthy meal for me and my family. I recently got a new job that makes it impossible to get home early enough to make a decent meal for my family, but thanks to this book I’ve been able to get a decent meal on the table every night.
