I like the IDEA of this and I wish it were better, because I like listening to nature sounds to relax. The first time I listened to it I fell asleep, but the second time, I kept hearing the repeat, and it bothered me. If you are used to listening to actual nature at all, then you are going to pick up on that pretty quickly, the loop is too short. The sound is so repetitive that it is nothing like listening to actual nature. The reason I tried it is because if I open my window I hear traffic, and with the window closed, it just seems too quiet because I grew up in the woods with the real sounds of crickets and tree frogs. The way that the sound so quickly repeats really bothers me so much that I can’t listen to it anymore,

Natural relaxation!

I can’t believe how long it took me to find this gem! The rhythmic sounds of waves breaking and insects at night just puts me right to sleep. I’ll set the sleep timer on my tv for an hour (or longer if I don’t have to be up early the next day) and just let my breath slow to match the beat as I drift off to blissful sleep….

It works very well to relax a busy mind when you’re stressed or just want to hear familiar, soothing sounds that remind you of vacations on the beach or camping in the woods. It also settle toddlers to help them get to sleep (and stay asleep). I listen to it every night.

It worked for me. I often have difficulty falling asleep or sleeping through the night. I didn’t try this until 2am, but once I fell asleep, I didn’t wake up until around 8:30 which is the longest I’ve sleep without waking up in a long time.

Almost Perfect

The sounds are wonderful and it does relax me enough for me to fall asleep. There are just two things I would change. #1- If the video is 3 hours long, don’t repeat the same sounds so close together. It would make it more realistic without all the repetition. #2- This would be great with live scenes. Otherwise, it’s great!

Definitely helps me sleep

The only thing I would say about this that is negative is that after listening to it a few times both the waves and the nature sounds do not sound natural but synthesized. It seems too repetitive and no natural variation.

More frogs and crickets, please

Very relaxing. I wish it were longer on the nature sounds as I have much difficulty getting to sleep. The sounds of singing frogs and crickets is more like my nature sounds than the ocean as I live inland.
