Mouthwatering paleo recipes in three easy steps
I am by nature a very health conscious person and I have recently become interested in the paleo diet, and I am indeed fully aware that is more of a lifestyle choice than a traditional fad diet concept, meaning that I do not plan to use the diet until I lose a set amount of weight and then go back to my regular diet. I understand by using this particular diet. I will live a longer and much healthier lifestyle which is just fine by me and as I became more and more interested in the diet. I decided to search for interesting and delicious recipes so as to avoid becoming stuck in a diet or food routine rut and this book definitely delivers. I particularly like it because it clearly explains the concept of the paleo diet in the first section so that the reader can clearly understand the difference between this particular dietary lifestyle and all of the other fad diets. Not to mention the book clearly lays out the health benefits of the paleo diet in a very easy to understand and appreciate format so that the reader knows exactly what they’re getting into. But I particularly like the recipes they are broken down into sections such as breakfast, lunch and dinner and even dessert and snacks and all the recipes that I have read so far sound absolutely delicious. Although I must admit, I’ve only had a chance to try a few of them. I can however honestly testify that the oven baked coconut shrimp appetizers, as well as the vegetable pancakes and mango smoothies are absolutely delicious. And best of all these recipes are very simple and straightforward and do not require an advance culinary degree to carry out successfully. I am very pleased with my purchase and I have no doubt that you will be as well. This is a great first recipe book for anyone just starting the paleo diet or for someone looking to add a little flavor diversity to their menu.
Paleo Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Paleo is probably one of the soundest approaches to eating consistently with your body’s needs. It is also one of the more difficult things to do in the early 21st century. With so many processed foods and so much sugar jammed into basic staples such as spaghetti sauce and other canned goods the entire process requires a conscious effort that some find difficult to sustain. In this book Lisa Gottlieb offers recipes that make the entire process easier. The recipes appeal to your established tastes and offer such things as Ove Backed Coconut shrimps, Muffuletta Kabobs, and high protein Greek Chicken Salad. Some recipes, such as the Paleo Raw Breakfast Cereal, offer a change of pace that will surprise you. The author offers some observations as to the Paleo diet and what would and would not be in it. The more consistent you are with what your body was actually designed to consume the happier and healthier you will be.
I love cooking, and I’d been wanting to try Paleo cooking for a while now – I just didn’t know where to start. I just knew that it was healthy, and yet really tasty.
The recipes are a must try
I’ve been wanting to try Paleo Diet for the past months and I have purchased 10 books to try recipes from and this is the only book that I loved out of the 10 that I have purchased. Simply because this book has alternative ingredients which are easier to find in the groceries. I tried out the Baked Ginger Fish with Coconut Lime and it’s superb! I highly recommend people to try out the recipes. It’s super easy, cooks in minutes and everything is a must try!
