An excellent book on smoothies for health, jam packed with lots of tasty recipes. The author’s explanation of the health benefits of each smoothie group has proven very helpful in choosing which recipes to try. I would advise using a powerful blender, mine is 750 watts, for thoroughly grinding your ingredients to avoid lumps. Many of the recipes are even good at refrigerator or room temperature, for those with sensitive teeth this is a good option to avoid discomfort. To keep cost minimal I use frozen fruits and vegetable, which are always available, and just as nutritious as much more expensive and seasonable items.

I am a great fan to smoothies especially those that are able to tinkle my taste buds and help in weight management. After reading the entire book in one sitting, I was amazed how the author explains why we need smoothies. Smoothies are not just deserts, but also natural form of beverages that can help in our daily intakes of vitamins. I even showed this recipe to my obese friend and he even managed to reduce his weight after 7 days of using what it is being revealed. Highly recommended for smoothies fans! Good job!

This was an interesting guide to smoothie drinks. I took some time to make the drinks outlined in the book and must say it was quite delicious. Also the recipes were easy to follow which was a plus.Not only were the recipes that i tried so far were,really good, but the introduction to the book was great as well. The story and the explanation of the benefits of smoothies got me very motivated to be healthier. Cant wait to try the rest of the recipes!

Lots of good basic nutrition information. The recipes sound delicious and utilize easy to find ingredients. This was one of the better smoothie books I’ve purchased.
