I have always loved learning about healthy eating and am always fascinated at how people from all over the world enjoy different kinds of foods. Studies have linked eating a typical Western diet—filled with processed meats, packaged meals, takeout food, and sugary snacks—with higher rates of depression, stress, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Eating an unhealthy diet may even play a role in the development of mental health disorders such as ADHD, Alzheimer’s disease, and schizophrenia, or in the increased risk of suicide in young people.

Prep time is always a issue in our family because we are constantly busy with work and kids activities. The other big issue usually revolves around the fact that I have three kids with completely different tastes for food. This book has made it easier to make a combination of meal items that all kids will enjoy. It has also been nice to provide an easy way to get the kids involved in deciding on and making the meal for the morning or evening. I would definitely recommend the breakfast meals in this book.

I have been seeking out more recipe books to expand my options and keep myself healthy- I get bored of using the same old recipes all the time. So far this has helped me greatly and I cannot tell you anything less. I can’t really make this a super long review but this has not only given me a few recipes to use directly but a few ideas to expand upon and develop other recipes of my own. I’m on a paleo/raw diet with a background of having done the ketogenic diet for a long while. It was recently suggested me to switch from keto to paleo so that’s why I have switched. However. That being said superfoods and raw food diet books as well as Mediterranean and paleo books are all i’ve been looking at lately and I find the more options I have the less bored I get. So thank you to the writer/creator of this book and I hope that you potential readers enjoy this as much as I have so far.

You Won’t Be Disappointed With These Tasty & Healthy Recipes

I don’t like to cook the same things all the time so I am always looking for new, tasty and healthy recipes to try out and this book fits the bill! The recipes are well written, with clear and easy to follow directions. Also included is information about superfoods to help you become a more educated and informed consumer. The first recipe that I tried was the Sweet Coconut Crust Salmon – – I love coconut and always have some on hand and had a few Salmon filets in the freezer that I wanted to use. I used unsweetened coconut in this recipe, and substituted a mixture of coconut oil and grapeseed oil for the butter (I LOVE butter, but am trying to watch my cholesterol). Verdict for this recipe – – definitely a keeper! Even my husband who is not a big fan of salmon, loved this recipe. Would also like to try this with some Mahi-Mahi. This item was received for free or at a discounted price.

Great book! Great read! Fast read! I’m all about the simplicity of a Kindle or eReader so I can bring multiple books with me wherever I go. As much as I love having a nice paperback in my hands flipping through the pages, an eBook really is very efficient. This book was quick to grab my attention with it’s captivating writing and beautiful pictures and images. Once I picked it up it was hard to put down. I flew through this book within a day. I was surprised at all of the information they jam packed in here that I was not aware of. I’m a reader so I may read faster than other non-readers, but overall it was a quick read. I would read it again and feel glad to have this one in my collection.
