Probably more helpful for planning bigger affairs/weddings, but still can be useful for smaller weddings
It’s helpful for bringing things to any bride’s attention, but I think this book is more geared towards brides dealing with 125+ guests at their wedding. For smaller weddings (under 75 guests) and with lower-maintenance brides, this book is probably overkill. Most of this stuff didn’t apply to the small wedding I’m planning, but it did have some sections that brought up great points to ponder (especially the budget section).
Love this book!
I bought an entire library of wedding planning books during our 18 month engagement. This is one of 2 books that I was actually still referring to the week of our wedding. I loved the lists – and I used this book to keep me on track. I wrote lots of little notes of my own in the book as we were making decisions along the way. The book has kind of become a wedding planning keepsake, and I buy it for friends who are newly engaged as a gift.
This may seem unnecessary if you have the planner
This may seem unnecessary if you have the planner, but I’ve found it to be a very handy companion to the planner. It is much more portable and contains some information that I didn’t see in the planner. It’s also a bit more streamlined, so it’s nice to have when you meet with service providers. I highly recommend this book in addition to the planner or even as a stand alone planning guide.
Great resource to have whether you are using a wedding planner or not! So many amazing lists, in an easy to read format. The book itself is very portable making it easy to take with to appointments. I would recommend this book to any future bride regardless of how “in depth” they are involved with the planning process.

My daughter and I were both very disappointed in the book. We were expecting actual lists of things to do and dates by which they should be done where we could write in the book. We were very disappointed in the product. We purchased two books one for her and one for me and we never use them.
Great book, I love the lists and space for writing!
Lots of space to write and love the lists! I wish there was a destination wedding version of this, but this has more than enough to organize all of the wedding planning.
Super useful and very good starting point
Super useful and very good starting point. I’m planning a wedding and this has been a great guide for our very early stages
Great tool for planning
Bought this as a gift, but after looking at it, I wish I had it for my wedding!! Great tool for planning!!
Absolutely love the book
Absolutely love the book. Had to order it a few times before I could get one that was in at least ok condition. The first two were in awful condition. Finally the third one was good, only a few bent edges
