Andre de Laurent is the second son of an extremely wealthy family, which basically means he'll always be number two. That is, until his mother's uncle dies and leaves him a multi-billion-dollar fortune. So what's the trouble? Andre has sixty days to take a wife, and he'll have to remain married for one year or forfeit the inheritance to distant relatives–who are hell-bent on claiming the inheritance as their own.

Aspiring actress Tasha Gordon has never wanted anything quite so much as that big break–until she met Andre de Laurent. Could his offer turn out to be the role of lifetime? Or will the
stipulations of his late uncle's will spoil their romance? Find out in The Marriage Caper.

Nice surprise…much better than the first book

Tasha Gordon met Andre De Laurent when her best friend married his brother. The two were instantly attracted to each other and embarked on a light hearted, flirty affair. When Andre’s maternal uncle died and left him a fortune with strings attached, he found himself in need of a wife and sought out Tasha with a lucrative offer. Before he could make it, Andre discovered she was pregnant and never let on his original purpose of a marriage proposal.

The Marriage Caper (Billionaire Games: Book 2)is 208 pages long and priced at $3.99. (Remember – check the boxed set price first before you buy them singly!) This story takes up after Julian & Camille have married – for real – and the couple for this book is Andre and Tasha. Tasha is Camille’s best friend from the States and Andre is the “spare” of the de Laurent dynasty. Andre’s mother’s uncle passes away and leaves the bulk of his estate & holdings to Andre, with $50 million stipulations for both Julian and their half-sister, Lecie – but Andre must marry within 60 days and remain married for 1 year or else the will reverts to two very distant cousins. Unknown to them, one of those cousins is scheming to get the fortune.

A really great addition to a fantastic series!

I read the first book and wasn’t sure the author could top it, but I was so wrong. I loved this story even more than the last, and that’s really saying something. Tasha & Andre go through a lot and it really touches you right down to the core. Maybe I was more invested in these two, because they didn’t start out in a fake marriage. They actually loved each other long before they married. I so love when an author can really pull me into a story and make me feel for the characters.

What an interesting book!

Ms. Edwards did a great job with this sequel. I’m very impressed with this one, just like the first book. I like that I can see what happened with Camille and Julian from book one, as well as reading more about the family, with Julian’s brother Andre the hero in this story. And quite a hero he is! He’s an amazing man, and many men could take lessons from both brothers.

Awesome story line with amazing characters. A must read

I gave it 4 stars because I liked the first book better. However; it was good to see those characters carried into this story. My biggest problem was I just could not bring myself to like Tasha – she seemed to be a spoiled child instead of a grown woman.

Romantic Food for Thought!

Tasha and Andre’s story was hinted at in The Marriage Bargain so it was great to finally get to see it unfold. As usual, Sandra gives us a romantic story that despite the challenges turns out to be a beautiful love. We also get to read more about Camille and Julian!

Awesome Read

This was a quick read that I could not put down. Andre and Tasha are perfect together. The fact that he had to marry as a requirement to the will was interesting . Sandra did an excellent job writing this book. I have read several of her book and have not been disappointed yet. You will enjoy it.

A wonderful story of a hard working woman trying to become an actress until billionaire Andre walks back into her life. Andre has a big secret that everyone knows about but Tasha. Read and discover what happens when the secret is told. This story is full of love and deceit. A GREAT READ!

Unlikely, But A Good Story

Andre and Tasha are an unlikely match, but a nice one. A French billionaire and a California waitress/actress have things to learn about each other before they can accomplish a full year of marriage. It all makes for a delightful Cinderella-type story. And who doesn’t like that?
