I don’t even know how or where to begin. Which is ironic because this book is about the opposite.

Advocating relentless focus on a single objective.

Business books are always an interesting problem. Are they a prop to sell consulting gigs? Are they stretched out one note ideas? Or do they pull off something worthwhile and can they really aid someone find the business success they are seeking?

Excellent advice for life!

If you are on the fence about buying thus book because you think it’s just ‘another self help’ book, think again. This is easily one of the best books I’ve ever read, with clear and understandable principles concerning what you want out of life. What’s your One Thing? Gary works backwards from your answer. What’s the one thing you want in 5 years? In one year? In the next 6 months? In a month? This week? Today? What can you do today that will, in essence, get you where you want to be in life?

I read this after reading David Lee Martin’s

I absolutely LOVE this book

This book is amaaazing. I wasn’t going to buy this book at first because at that time I was looking for a book about self-confidence. As I was scrolling through the thousands of books on self-confidence I came across this one book that stood out like a bright light in the dark. I was going to pass right by this book because I didn’t think it would help me with my lack of confidence. After reading the great reviews I gave this book a try and I am sooo happy I bought this book. What is funny is that this book IS what I was looking for. This book gave me the confidence that I needed to do some amazing things in my life and it helped me to have a laser like focus on what I love to do. It helped me to focus on my ONE Thing. After reading this book I finally have something that is solid and achievable.

A Book About Productivity That Focuses on One Thing

 on August 30, 2017

This is one of the better productivity books that I’ve read. Many books in this genre grab onto the latest research, whether verified or not, and shoehorn it into their system, which is invariably a variation of a to-do list. While that could be said of this book, Keller cuts to the chase. He focuses on prioritizing your list in a simple yet profound way – and that may not work for everyone.

Easy to read but surprising depth of wisdom

This is a somewhat surprising book. I found myself reading the fully developed version of the hints and half-formed concepts that experience is slowly teaching me. The author writes with clarity and directness about the relatively counterintuitive road to success, and by so doing helps the reader leapfrog many years of trial and error. While more expensive than the usual Kindle book, I consider it money well spent.

One of the best books I’ve read all year. Keller goes through what it takes to get things done in this world. In the book, he basically says that at one specific time, we have our ONE thing in our lives. It is our job to focus on our ONE thing whenever we make decisions throughout life. Our ONE thing guides our decision making and helps us determine where our time should be spent. Great, GREAT, read.
