Invitation to Webb’s Fans to the Happy Side of a Great Mystery Series.
Debra Webb’s “The Wedding” is truly an invitation to the wedding of the year in Birmingham, Alabama. Webb’s readers hope it is Dan and Jess’s wedding. Readers are kept guessing as it could be Lori and Chet or maybe another member of the team has popped the question It might be anyone of the SPU team and you will have to read Webb’s story to find out. The team is ready to celebrate and go to someone’s wedding.
A don’t miss story.
I have followed Jess Harris and a Webb’s incredible series, a definite must read for everyone who loves great romantic suspense. But The Wedding is more than the frosting on the (wedding) cake. I read it while I was on my treadmill this morning and it’s really hard to keep running when you are bawling happy tears. What a wonderful wonderful, wonderful story. I loved it and I am very very picky about stories I say I love. But this one? It is so beautiful, so emotional, I wish I could give it m
A lovely addition/ending to the series
This novella topped off an incredible series with “whipped cream and a cherry.” I mean this in a complimentary way. The whole “A Faces of Evil” series dragged me away from family and duties many times — and I am not complaining. Every book was an adrenaline rush and full of unanticipated twists and turns. “The Wedding” is not one of those. No accelerated heart rate or chewing of nails in this short story, but a fully satisfying roundup of the cast of characters (not the evil ones) from the series.
A delightful ending for a much awaited joining together of two of the most important characters of this series. Can’t wait for the next book
We’ve waited so long for this wedding and it finally happened. It was sweet and to the point, the perfect way to move between novels and give us all a little taste of what’s to come. I do have to admit, I’m happy Dan and Jess found a way to include Buddy Corlew in the wedding party. He’s really my favorite (just don’t tell Dan I said that).
Sweet, Indulgent Epilogue to Jess and Dan’s Stroy
To be honest ten novels was really too long, I was getting sick of the main characters Jess and Dan. Sylvia and Buddy Corlew on the other hand have plenty of potential for the sparks and I’m really looking forward to their story.
Good short story.
As usual this author delivers a good book. She incorporated all the characters from the Faces of Evil series in a wedding book, good ending for the romantic side of it. Can’t wait for the next book, have already ordered it.
A very short story, no action, full romance and family feelings. A cool balming effect after 10 plus 2 roller coaster ride of Faces of Evil books.
In this short Story we get to share Jess and Dan’s special day. The author writes so vividly that you feel like you are right there with them as one of the wedding guests. Great addition to the series.
What can I say once again another great book by this author, of course I buy them all and I never am disappointed.
