This is the second book in the Colorado Billionaires series.

Loved it!

Ashley Clair is devastated with her beloved father dies of cancer. She drives to Eagle Toe to let her estranged mother know the news, but what she finds at her childhood scares her enough that she seeks help and protection from a security expert. Thor Garrison runs a small security firm in town and when Ashley walks through his door, he wants nothing more than to protect the beautiful young woman. Throw in an attempted kidnapping, a crazy ex-girlfriend and an overbearing mother and you have a fast-paced mystery, thriller and a budding romance that will keep you turning the pages.

Great Series. Highly recommend.

I have so enjoyed this series. I read for escape and enjoyment. I get plenty of reality everyday so when I take a few minutes to sit and read I want to just relax and enjoy the ride. I have read 1-3 so far and have 4 on my kindle. I gave up a few nights sleep because I could not put it down. Always a sign of a good book. Well written and each story a little different. I cannot wait to see what she writes next. This has been great.

A bit disappointing

I liked this book and I loved Thor and Ashley. However, while I liked the book, I did not like it quite as much as Duke’s previous book in the Colorado Billionaires series, The Wedding Wager. I liked that there was a lot of suspense in this book but I was sort of aggravated at how Thor allowed Britney Beth to create havoc over and over again. I really wanted to see him stand up to her and get her out of Ashley’s hair! Maybe one reason I was disappointed in this book was because I LOVED The Wedding Wager. Wedding Hazard had huge shoes to fill and in my opinion, it did not quite fill them.

Decent romance story

This was a real quick read for me. It was nothing memorable, but a decent clean boy meets girl and happy ending sort of book. I didn’t get emotionally involved like I prefer in a great story. Nothing wrong with it just not too exciting.

Finally, a heroine who falls in love with a man with money and she is not guilt ridden about accepting his help. Hurray!

A page turner!

I have been waiting for the next Regina Duke story.. I was not disappointed at all.. This story starts out with a young girl trying to put her life back together after losing her father. She becomes spooked at a strange note left by her mom and before you know it she is in an office looking for protection from a handsome guy named Thor. I loved the suspense and cliff hangers in this tale, the humor that so many people need to have in their lives. The love and romance always makes me feel so wonderful. AND of course we have a canine hero who is one of my favorite breeds involved in this story! Thanks again Regina I was totally lost in this story. This book was a quick read and was so enjoyable. I am looking forward to the next story.

Romance mystery thriller

This cross between romance, mystery and thriller is great for an afternoon or evening of retreat from reality. It is a light fast read through a plot that keeps moving in response to plenty of twists and turns in the ongoing events, and there were many characters that I liked and would have enjoyed meeting. For me this book succeeded because it made me care about the welfare of those characters and the outcome of the tale and yet managed to keep some light humor mixed in with the mystery and thriller components of the story.

Enjoyed this Book and Recommend highly

I loved this book also and it really surprised me in that it too was a mystery and suspenseful and kept you captivated with all the twists in it. It too was a wonderful romantic story as well and I loved the ending. Some might not like it because it was clean as far as the describing the sexual act. It could be considered a Christian novel.
